School Racing

Several schools in the North Harbour region participate in Secondary School Cycling.

Team Time Trials

During the Winter months the main school competition is the Auckland Secondary Schools Cycling Team Time Trial on the Waterfront. This takes place early on Sunday morning and is contested by about a hundred teams representing schools from all over Auckland.

North Harbour Cycling Club Schools Competition.

2008 saw the inaugural NHCC Schools Series. Run over several weeks the competition was based on three events with individual riders competing for race points. The NHCC School Cup was awarded to the school accumulating the most points over the series.

Since 2009 North Harbour Cycling  has run a Schools Tour instead. Racing takes place over one weekend, with two races on each day.
